in the studio

Working on lots of embroidery for an organic kids' bag and beautiful pillow sham for a customer in Australia who wanted the same design put on a piece of wool and made into a sofa pillow.

Working on these intricate little flowers is helping me eke out the very last of fall, at least in my own mind. And I remind myself that the bulbs that will explode with blooms in a few months are now resting and gathering the strength for their spring show. Just about the time we welcome a new baby into our family.

The rhythms of nature are incredibly powerful, aren't they?

p.s. my ACORN GIVEAWAY is still on - you can enter once a day - it ends on Friday.
