This week my shop partner - the quilter (otherwise known as my mom) finished another custom order - a really big twin-sized quilt for a little girl getting a really big girl bed.
Peach pink matryoshka dolls on our favorite Japanese import (which we can only ever occasionally find anymore, sniff, sniff. We keep hearing rumors that it's out of print).
Paired with a teal green Oeko-Tex certified cotton the reverse, modern quilting and such unusual beauty.
so pretty and so...fun :) a little bit of playful in soft earthy tones. wonderful job! i recently made an over the shoulder bag with a similar style, but that material couldn't compete. somehow, this looks like it has so much history, even if it was made yesterday :)
