connecting & generosity

Earlier this year I was scanning Etsy's (fabulous but should-be-expanded-a-lot) shop local feature and noticed a photographer from my own very small city. I was immediately taken by Raceytay's work. I kept peeking back in her shop and, one day, finally built up the courage to let her know how much I enjoyed her photographs.

Tracey is as genuinely kind as she is talented, as it turned out.

I keep wondering if we would have ever connected in Ottawa, even though she works a 10 minute drive from our home, if we both had not had shops on Etsy.

But we did.  And this weekend Raceytay took some stunning photos of some of our felted pieces.

Her photographs really bring them to life, don't you think?

It just happens that Raceytay is having a BOGO (buy one, get one) sale in her Etsy shop right now, so it's a wonderful time to treat yourself to some wall art. Or a calendar. Or some gorgeous gift cards. Her metallic prints are unique and incredible in person.

These are some of the photos we have in our home:

Thank you, Tracey!
