We last visited our favorite farm, Shelburne Farms (in Vermont) last June. The babies were so fresh and young then, the summer just set to begin. Now it seems those animal babies have grown up so much. Mine has too - it's almost too fast. And the chilly breeze in the air means that languid, splendid pace of summer has ripened too, into a more brisk tempo in the fall. I wish I could press "pause" - do you?
What an amazing experience to see all of the animals grown up a bit, and to know that your children have grown with them. Looks like a great day
