today

A huge flock of crows (actually called a "storytelling") congregated this morning outside in the huge black walnut tree.

Their conversation was distracting.

"What are they all talking about?" asked my Mister Mister.

My 4 year old daughter paused, thinking for a few moments.

"Revolution", she said. "They are talking about a revolution."

Then she paused again.

"There's going to be a crow government."

"What are they going to do with us?" asked Mister Mister.

"You'll see", she said, knowingly.

  2. Awesome!
I have noticed how the crows gather at this time of year. Often on the ice on a lake. I call it crow-meeting and I have wondered what on earth they are talking about.

  4. I have always adored these "storytellings" especially when they lift up into the sky in a bird cloud. Now ever time I see them I will imagine the bird speaker of the house calling out order order! Smiles.
