H O O T
I saw this fabulous little (super) kid-friendly craft over at YarnMiracle, and I knew that it was something we should try.
You can find all the instructions here, where Emily posted her craft how-to.
It's a great way to use toilet paper rolls! My little one decided to use neon colored paint (her favorite) and shiny silver paper. So they are truly 80s' owls given life in the wrong decade, I think.
Emily's YarnMiracle shop is filled with beautiful, hand knitted animals, big and small. She has a whimsical, completely original take on her creatures and I love looking through her collection. (Official hint: ahem, would love one for the new baby on the way this spring).
Like her little bitty toffee owl
And this trio of birds...

They turned out so well! I love their 80s style!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got a kick out of the project.
What an adorable project! I see a new Etsy store in your future :)
